This simple app displays a graph of Acceleration vs.
Time on all three axes.
The three components of the acceleration vector are continuously read from the selected sensor; they can be displayed together on a single grid, or each component can be displayed separately.
Our app (portrait orientation, Android 6 or a newer version is required) will only work on smartphones that have at least one acceleration sensor, hardware or software.
Accelerometer app can be used to study the Earths gravitational field or to measure the mobile devices movements and vibrations.
For example, it is possible to evaluate the frequency and amplitude of vibrations originating from different sources - such as small machines, or the seismic activity, or the linear acceleration of a car.
